Shorebirds Trust Charity Golf Tournament

Each year the Shorebirds Trust hosts a charity golf tournament at Tara Iti Golf Club, New Zealand’s finest golf course and ranked by Golf Digest as the 2nd top course in the world outside the US. The funds raised from this event primarily focus on supporting scientific research and conservation efforts aimed to have the most impact on recovery efforts for the critically endangered tara iti (NZ Fairy Tern) and other endangered shorebirds.

Thursday 06 April, 2023 at Tara Iti Golf Club, Te Arai.

PARTICIPATION FEE / DONATION

$5,000* per team of four, or $1,250* per person plus GST.

Includes entry fee, caddie fees and gratuities, prizes and food and beverages throughout the day.

GOLF TOURNAMENT FORMAT

8:30 am
Arrival and registration at the Clubhouse with light refreshments available

10:00 am
Shot Gun Start, Two best ball Stableford (Grab & Go light bites available on
the course)

3:00 pm
Awards and luncheon at the Tara Iti Golf Club Clubhouse

For any non-golfers, a donation to the Shorebirds Trust would be greatly appreciated, and we invite you to join us at the Clubhouse for a relaxed luncheon at 3.00 pm.
